Marta Janowska is a doctor of medical sciences, a graduate of medical and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She completed her specialization in dermatology and venereology at the University Hospital in Krakow.
She defended her doctoral thesis, with distinction, on genes involved in the etiopathogenesis of acne. She is a member of the European Society for Lasers and Energy Based Devices (ESLD), the European Association of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the International Dermoscopy Society (IDS) and the Polish Society of Dermatology. She regularly participates in conferences and trainings in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
She has completed numerous dermatology internships, including at Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology (New Haven, USA), Hospital de Base (Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Brazil) and Ludwig Maximilians Universitat, Center of International Health (Munich, Germany), and has completed dermatology courses in Innsbruck, Brussels, Munich, among others.
