The laser treatment involves the use of an NIR (Near – Infrared) head emitting near infrared light, thanks to which we obtain a thermolifting effect – tightening, firming and toning the skin. It should be remembered that this light also has a clear analgesic effect – it works well in the treatment of painful muscles or joints.

Innovative technology

Infrared light with a wavelength of up to 1300 nm evenly introduces high temperature into the deep layers of the dermis and adipose tissue, as a result of which collagen fibers are shortened and the production of new and elastin is stimulated.

The treatment is completely safe – the tissues are heated to a temperature of 40-44 degrees Celsius, thanks to which there are no side effects, because it is the temperature tolerated by our skin. Additionally, the head was equipped with a contact cooling module.

In short, the treated skin of the face and neck becomes denser, its elasticity improves, it becomes radiant, taut and visibly rejuvenated. Body therapies are used, among others in the case of unsightly “pelicans”, laxity of the skin on the buttocks, breasts and stomach.

Effects

The first effects of the treatment performed at the Medical Clinic Podhale Art in Zakopane with the use of the laser NIR (Near – Infrared) are visible immediately after its implementation – as a result of the treatment, the skin firms and brightens. On the other hand, the spectacular effects are finally visible 3-6 months after the end of the treatment / series of treatments. These include, for example:

Contraindications

There are the following contraindications for the procedure, such as:

pregnancy and breastfeeding,
fresh tan (1 month),
skin cancer diseases,
psoriasis,
albinism,
tendency to develop keloids,
blood coagulation disorders,
alcohol consumption (24 hours before the procedure),
diabetes,
retinoid treatment,
drinking herbs such as St. John’s wort, horsetail, and calendula
epilepsy.

After treatment

For the first two days after the treatment, the skin may be irritated, red and swollen. There is a burning sensation immediately after the treatment, which may actually last for several hours. It should be remembered that for about 3 days the skin may appear brownish and the epidermis will gradually peel off. It is important to moisturize the skin and protect it from direct sunlight.
