Indications

Advanced IPL laser light is recommended in cases such as:

Contraindications

retinoid therapy,

taking medications and photosensitizing herbs (antibiotics, antidepressants, tetracyclines, Chinese herbs, St. John’s wort, marigold),
photodermatoses,
cancers,
epilepsy,
vitiligo, active psoriasis,
blood clotting disorders, use of medicines that reduce blood clotting,
fresh tan (after sun, solarium), self-tanner,
alcohol consumption (it should be discontinued at least 24 hours before the procedure),
uncontrolled diabetes,
susceptibility to the formation of keloids.

After treatment

Possible symptoms after the procedure include:

erythema and swelling as a direct effect – these symptoms disappear within 24 hours,
in the case of a strong impulse, the intended effect of the treatment is often the browning and exfoliation of the epidermis in the first 3 days after the procedure, then it is necessary to oil the skin abundantly and use antiseptics.

For a few days after the procedure, the following rules should be followed, such as:

avoid sunbathing for at least 4 weeks after the treatment, apply creams with a high UVA and UVB filter on the skin,
avoid factors causing vasodilation for 4-5 days (physical exercise, sauna, temperature changes),
do not use soap, alcohol, alcohol-based tonics,
do not perform peelings and other treatments (always after contacting the doctor performing the laser treatment),
avoid wiping the places after the treatment with a sponge or towel,
do not irritate the skin around the treatment area,
do not apply make-up to exposed areas (about 2 days),
use deep moisturizing creams.
