Couperose skin is currently a serious problem. Unsightly erythema and even rosacea often occur. The answer to this is to close the vessels. There are many technologies on the market, but the latest one is the hybrid laser.

The hybrid laser laser allows you to remove capillaries on the face with both hybrid technology  and neodymium. Therefore, it is possible to adjust the appropriate beam and treatment parameters to the patient’s skin phototype. Thanks to this, side effects, blisters or burns are minimized. In addition, a cooling system is built into the head, making the treatment more comfortable than in the case of other technologies. There is usually a slight “pinching” sensation. • Precision and shorter recovery period – the laser beam precisely “grabs” the blood vessels. The procedure is usually carried out once. In the case of numerous capillary changes, the treatment can be repeated after about 6 weeks.

• Two months before the procedure, you cannot sunbathe or use bronzing creams.
• The skin subjected to the treatment must not be dry and irritated, and immediately before removing the capillaries, it must be thoroughly washed and not lubricated.
• Do not perform the procedure during an infection (e.g. herpes), and also when there are inflammations on the skin in the area undergoing the procedure. You must then refrain from the procedure for a minimum of 2 weeks until complete healing.
• Four weeks before the procedure, do not use creams and ointments with vitamin C, fruit acids, vitamin A, retinoids, and do not perform medical peels.
• You should inform about all the medicines you use
• Oral retinoids must be discontinued at least six months before the first treatment.
• One week before the procedure, anticoagulants (e.g. Acard, Aspirin) must be discontinued.
• A month before the procedure, do not use exfoliating preparations (e.g. homemade scrubs), depilatory creams, photosensitizing drugs, herbs (e.g. St. John’s wort, calendula, chamomile, Figura tea).
• The day before the procedure, you cannot consume large amounts of alcohol, but you need to hydrate your body well (at least 2 liters of mineral water a day).

After the treatment, the skin is usually slightly swollen, reddened and small scabs may appear on it, which last up to 2 weeks. It is worth remembering a few basic rules of skin care after the procedure:

• use creams with a UVA and UVB filter min. SPF 50,
• up to 3 days after the procedure, use soothing preparations 2-3 times a day,
• do not rub the epidermis and do not use peelings for up to 7 days after the treatment,
• for  48 hours after the procedure do not use the swimming pool and sauna
• avoid products containing acids.

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Tan acquired 2 weeks before the procedure, and in the case of a solarium 30 days.
• Vitiligo, psoriasis (active phase), keloids, inflammations, skin infections.
• Kidney failure.
• Cancers.
• Photosensitizing drugs, e.g. antidepressants, immunosuppressants, tetracyclines, isotretinoin (3-6 months), tretinoin (2 weeks).
• Herbs, e.g. John’s wort, marigold, chamomile, horsetail, nettle.
• Blood clotting disorders, use of blood thinners.
